Hi everyone!
My name is Rina and I'm here to help you take better care of your electric guitar.
Improving your sound is about your guitar having the best playability, setup, and electronic components to fit your needs. Your fingers do the rest!
The first occupation that I could think of as a kid was being a "sales person for guitars". Not that I'd have known what a "sales person" actually does, but it was the image in my mind that I could be surrounded by guitars all day and talk about nothing else. Later on, I became part of the school band (where I met Alex) and started to become obsessed with sound. It became so bad, that one day, I decided to study electrical engineering simply because I wanted to understand how a guitar amplifier works.
And here I am, after not touching a guitar for a long long time to finally come back to my passion.
Meet Alex
You might have noticed her as "the other guitar player" or "the tuning stability expert". She's my wife and best friend.
For the videos she does all the camera work, lighting, color grading, some of the cutting, and our taxes. Thank you, love!
Hi there, I'm Alex!
Back in high school, I was asked to play flute and sing in our local school band. We were kind of a strange combo, playing pop and rock with a clarinet, saxophone, and flute in addition to the more traditional band instruments. I soon discovered the appeal of playing guitar, first dwelling in the soundscapes of singer-songwriters and the more folk and blues inspired artists like Sheryl Crow, who was my big idol back then. I got guitar lessons and started playing in the band and not much time passed until Rina (who was the other guitarist) and I got fascinated by classic rock and 80s metal and started our own band, both singing and playing guitar and writing songs.
When we both entered university, we had several bands, but over time, music more or less disappeared out of our now busier lives. We missed it deeply and when we started to play again, it felt like coming up for air. I recently began to learn bass and I can't wait to become a better player! Therefore, I wish to contribute how to make practicing effortless, how to play music even if you're living in a flat and how to get the best out of your instrument even on a tight budget.
